How this is measured
Prices are our own captured venue history, volume-weighted across the venues listing each market. Every line is rebased to 100 at the window open, so the vertical gap between two lines is the relative performance.
RS is a ratio against the peer median — here, the median across sectors. Above 1 means outperforming that median, below 1 means lagging it. Because the benchmark is the peer group itself, roughly half of the sectors sit above 1 at all times, including when every one of them is down. It ranks; it does not tell you direction. That is what the change column is for.
Sector baskets are curated, so a sector is what we chose to put in it — not an exhaustive index. Members without enough captured history for a window are excluded rather than back-filled.
